Countryballs Easter 2024 (Gregorian, March 31)

By Shantleen Dhanoa

A fun holiday themed pantomime comic featuring Easter traditions in Western Christianity (Roman Catholicism and Protestantism). The cartoon features several well-known traditions such as the Easter Bunny and hot cross buns, but also lesser-known traditions such as the Easter Witches and the Estonian Easter Swing.

For really avid Countryballs fans, there are also familiar stereotypes and tropes from classic Countryballs comics, including the United States being incredibly obese (from eating most of the chocolates he was supposed to give out because he's the Easter Bunny) and the Netherlands being a stoner (which led to him getting banned from lighting the bonfire by Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Belgium and Luxembourg).
