Curieux (cue-ri-oh) is UC’s student magazine – it’s a platform to share creative work, ideas and voices!
We publish regular, themed editions of our digital magazine, alongside a steady stream of diverse content on our website. To capture the range of perspectives across the student body, Curieux encourages submissions on any topic of interest for our website, in addition to work for themed editions.
-
We accept submissions on any topic and in nearly any medium.
Unsure of where to start? Click the “Get Involved” button to see our current writing opportunities and content suggestions.
We also host the Curieux Collective fortnightly on Thursday from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
-
We accept submissions in a variety of mediums – prose fiction, poetry, articles, reviews, visual art, photography, films, original music, infographics – almost anything!
We gladly accept assignments, however, please talk to us beforehand so we can manage any potential publication conflicts.
If have an idea or finished piece and are unsure if it fits Curieux just send us an email, our editors are here to help you.

Do you love to be creative with words and visuals? Are you looking for opportunities to socialise and collaborate with other writers and creatives? Well, look no further than the Curieux Club!
The group is a chance to enjoy creative activities with like-minded people. We aim to promote a relaxed environment where we can encourage and inspire each other creatively.
The collective meets every fornight at the SRC office at 1A01 (across from Mizuna and next to the e-sports lounge), on Thursdays from 3-5pm.
